COVER LETTER

The cover letter gives you the opportunity to capture the attention and introduces your CV to the reader. Make sure to make reference any points you want to highlight.

CV TIPS

Keep your CV regularly updated and this will save you time preparing when you have a request to present yourself and need to respond quickly. Take time to get your CV right, we’ve put together a few pointers for you to follow.

  • Make sure you have covered the following: personal and contact information; education and qualifications; work history and/or experience; relevant skills to the job in question; own interests, achievements or hobbies; and some references
  • A successful CV is always carefully and clearly presented. Stick to no more than two pages of A4
  • Understand the job description and tailor your CV to the role
  • Under the skills section of your CV don't forget to mention key skills that can help you to stand out from the crowd
  • Include references
  • Keep your CV updated.

INTERVIEW TIPS

Good luck and don’t forget to tell the consultant your feedback from the interview as soon as possible.

HOW TO WIN AT INTERVIEWS

Be prepared and feel confident. You only have a small amount of time to convince the interviewer that you really are the right person for the role.
